Materials needed
- Two-bin pull-out trash slide kit (1 ea)
- Wood screws (#8 x 5/8") (1 pk)

Execution steps
Measure the cabinet
Measure interior width, depth, and height. Compare to the kit's required clearances on the box — don't skip this.
Duration: 10 min
Mark slide position
Tape painters tape along the cabinet floor. Mark center, then mark slide bracket footprint per the kit's template.
Duration: 15 min
Mount the base slides
Pre-drill and screw the base slides into the cabinet floor. Check level both ways before driving every screw.
Duration: 25 min
Attach front panel mount
Mount the front panel bracket to the back of your cabinet door (or use the included false-front panel).
Duration: 20 min
Drop in bins and test
Set the bins into the carriage. Open and close 10 times — listen for binding, adjust slides if it sticks.
Duration: 10 min
Safety first
- Pre-drill every hole — driving screws into cabinet floor without pilot holes splits particle board.
- Confirm bins clear plumbing and disposals BEFORE drilling.
When to hire a pro
Custom inset cabinetry or old face-frame cabinets needing a filler strip — a finish carpenter will do it cleaner.
